POLO filter aids are available as filter fleece as well as synthetic endless belts.

Filter fleece has been a problem for some time, because it required disposal in addition to the filter cake.

   But just how significant is this problem?

The fleece thickness is between 0.1 and 0.5 mm depending on the quality (20 - 100 g/m²).

At a cake height of 5 mm, the fleece makes up only 2 to 5 %; with a 10 mm filter cake it is only 1 - 2.5 %!
